Morris Knolls girls win in OT, Jefferson, Morris Hills prevail

Kate Wells’ overtime goal lifted Morris Knolls to an 8-7 win over Roxbury in girls lacrosse on Monday. Krista Mitarotonda led the Golden Eagles with four goals and Bridget Francisco scored twice for Morris Knolls. Emma Karnitsky and Mia Sadowski scored two goals apiece for the Gaels.

Jefferson 12, Randolph 9

Megan Smith’s 5-goal, 4-assist performance was the catalyst for the Falcons triumph. Kendra Nolan added four goals and Alexa Kolodzej scored twice for Jefferson (4-4). Taralyn Naslonski had seven goals for the Rams.

Sparta 20, Morris Catholic 10

Taylor Skawinski had four goals and Haley Driscoll had three goals and two assists.

Montclair 14, Kinnelon 9

Ashley Bobinski scored five goals and Victoria Bobinski had a hat trick for the Colts.

Morris HIlls 16, Clifton 6

Nicole Rizzo’s five goals paced the Scarlet Knights. Shaye Clark, Kaitlyn Draney and Sarah Walsh scored two goals each for Morris Hills. The Scarlet Knights are 7-1.

Morristown 19, Columbia 5

Annika Begley had six goals and two assists and Callie Sundin had five goals and two assists for the Colonials.

Madison 21, Villa Walsh 11

Catherine Crowley’s 8-goal performances sparked the Dodgers. Lauren Taylor had five goals and four assists and Lauren Kaye scored four times. Victoria Esposito had four goals and three assists for the Vikings.

Oak Knoll 16, Mendham 6

Katie McDonald scored twice for the Minutemen.

Vernon 17, Boonton 0

Kittatinny 16, Parsippany 2

Boys Lacrosse

Jefferson 16, High Point 3

Ian Prezwodek and Jake Sobieski had four goals each and Zak Sparks had three goals and five assists for the Falcons. Trevor Rozmus also registered a hat trick for Jefferson (6-0).

Morristown 11, Mendham 7

Kendall Rogers scored four times and Brad Greik fired a hat trick for the Colonials (7-1). Drew Robshaw scored four goals and Jack Anderson connected twice for the Minutemen.

West Morris 13, Roxbury 5

Cooper Sloan had three goals and two assists and Garrett Izzo and Eric Moore had two goals apiece for the Wolfpack. Dave Biank connected twice for Roxbury.

Hillsborough 10, Randolph 9

The Rams led 7-6 after three quarters. Randolph falls to 5-3.
