Morristown boys, girls triumph

Morristown rallied with a 3-goal fourth-quarter to upend Mountain Lakes 6-3 in boys lacrosse action on Monday.

Kendall Rogers and Andrew Chilson had a goal and an assist and Harrison Brown, Joe Doherty, Tom Ferrara and Jason Gaccione scored goals for the Colonials. Goalkeeper Thomas Sullivan stopped 15 shots.

Mount Olive 10, Sparta 7

Jackson Tilves notched four goals to fuel the Marauders. Griffin Shira fired a hat trick and Tyler McCreerey scored twice for Mount Olive.

Parsippany Hills 10, Parsippany 4

Sean Rice scored four times to pace the Vikings. Gavyn Crelin scored twice and Pat DeBenedetto, Brandon Verderber, Steven Puchalski and Devon Davidek also tallied for Parsippany Hills. Elijah Darby had two goals for The Red Hawks.

Roxbury 14, Morristown-Beard 5

Matt Dancsecs registered five goals and three assists to spark the Gaels. Paul Shadel added three goals and Eric D’Arminio had two goals and one assist for Roxbury (9-1).

Connor Morin had three goals and one assist for the Crimson.

Mendham 9, Montville 5

Quinn Cembrinski had four goals and one assist to lift the Minutemen. Jack Anderson added a pair of goals and Collin Euvino, Danny Cairo and Will Trinkoff also found the back of the net. Jason Archer scored twice for the Mustangs.

West Morris 13, Bernards 9

Jack Dipietro, Ryan Finlay, Garrett Izzo, Scott Jordan and Jake Ligos scored two goals each in the Wolfpack triumph.

Columbia 13, Park Regional 4

Cole Giammanco scored twice and Jimmy Fortier and Jack Crane also hit net for Park.

High Point 8, Morris Catholic 6

Matthew Graziano had four goals and two assists for the Crusaders.

Jefferson 12, Morris Hills 5

Hunter Good, Ian Prezwodek and Bryan Pasquariello each had hat tricks in the Falcons’ triumph. Garret Ciccia scored twice for the Scarlet Knights.


Morristown 10, Chatham 9, OT

Callie Sundin’s overtime goal lifted the Colonials to victory. Annika Begley and Nicole Ferrara netted hat tricks in the Morristown triumph. The Colonials rallied from a 5-2 halftime deficit. Begley sent the game in overtime on a goal with 1:07 remaining. Emilie DeKeyzer scored four times for Chatham.

Villa Walsh 11, Montville 9

Emma Shatel scored four times for the Vikings. Madeleine Colledge, Margaret McGinn and Victoria Colledge scored two goals each to lift Villa Walsh. Claudia Triofo and Gwyn Tropia had hat tricks for the Mustangs.

Morris Catholic 15, Kinnelon 4

Haley Driscoll netted five goals in the Crusaders’ victory. Hanna Driscoll had three goals and three assists and Rachel Petruska had two goals and two assists. Kristen Dunn scored twice for the Colts.

Randolph 9, Mount Olive 5

Jillian Fantuzzi and Taralyn Naslonski had hat tricks to propel the Rams. Madison Palumbo scored twice to pace the Marauders.

Summit 20, West Morris 8

Cassidy Orban had two goals and two assists for the Wolfpack.

Roxbury 13, Pope John 6

Emily Koepfler had four goals including her 100th varsity goal in the Gaels’ triumph. Emma Karnitsky also had four goals and Sadie Wilson had two goals and two assists.

Sparta 17, Pequannock 3

The Golden Panthers are 3-6.
