Morris Knolls wins thriller, Delbarton, Mountain Lakes triumph

Shane Dougherty had five goals and three assists and helped set up the game-winning goal In Morris Knolls 11-10 double overtime triumph over Mount Olive in boys lacrosse action on Tuesday. Scott Wells scored the game winner with 26 seconds left in the extra period. He connected off a pass from Dougherty that was initiated from a Max Klebba ground ball. Wells and Parker Campbell scored two goals apiece in the come-from-behind win. Griffin Shira had five goals and two assists for the Marauders.

Delbarton 5, Chatham 1

The Green Wave is 3-0. James Santoro scored twice and Collin Crowley had a goal and an assist to spark Delbarton. Matt Campbell and Chet Comizio also connected. Thomas Berger scored the lone Cougars goal.

Mountain Lakes 9, Montclair 3

The unbeaten Lakers led 6-1 at the half. Trevor Glavin and Matt Barkauskas scored two goals apiece for Mountain Lakes (3-0).

Jefferson 18, High Point 0

Hunter Good scored four goals and Alex Leming scored twice including his 100th varsity goal for the Falcons.

Park Regional 17, Parsippany Hills 7

Park led 10-2 after the first quarter. Jake Crane had six goals and two assists and Cole Giammanco had three goals and four assists for Park. Ben Walek had three goals and two assists for the Vikings.

Pope John 8, Montville 3

Cameron Zurawlow netted a pair and Matt Hingle tallied for the Mustangs.

Madison 10, St. Peters 8

The Dodgers are 3-0. Will Anton had four goals and Jackson Cox had a hat trick. Ryan Schmitz contributed two goals and three assists for Madison which led 6-2 at the half.

Seton Hall Prep 12, West Morris 11, OT

Garrett Izzo had a hat trick and Jake Ligos, Jack Dipietro and Chris Colitriano had two goals apiece for the Wolfpack.

Bernards 9, Kinnelon 7

Kyle Belanger had a hat trick and Joseph Balai scored twice for the Colts.

Randolph 13, Pequannock 5

Luc Swedlund scored six times to spark the Rams. Max Pinilis had a hat trick and Matt Potter scored twice for Randolph. The Rams took a 10-2 first-half lead. Matt Gallo scored twice for the Golden Panthers.

Morristown 4, Caldwell 1

The Colonials notched their first win of the season. Jason Gaccione had a goal and an assist and Kendall Rogers, Michael Toye and Tom Ferrara registered goals for Morristown (1-2).

Mendham 10, Montclair Kimberley 6

The Minutemen improve to 2-1.

Wayne Hills 16, Boonton 2

The Bombers drop to 1-2.
