Schuyler Bixby had five goals and four assists to lead Chatham to a 20-11 victory over Mendham in North Group III semifinal round girls lacrosse action on Tuesday.
Chatham led 8-4 at the half and slowly pulled away. Emily DeKeyzer had four goals, Emily Wingate had a hat trick and Zoe Kraus had two goals and three assists for the Cougars.
Christine Long and Brooke Phillips had hat tricks for the Minutemen. Chatham plays Hopewell Valley in Thursday’s semifinals.
Hopewell Valley 18, Mount Olive 8
Sarah McEvoy fired a hat trick and Grace Kim and Gina Verrone scored two goals apiece for the Marauders in North Group III action. Mount Olive finished an outstanding season at 17-2.
Glen Ridge 17, Morris Catholic 11
Haley Driscoll had four goals and two assists in the North Group I contest. Taylor Skawinski had a hat trick and Hanna Driscoll and Rachel Mills scored two goals each for the Crusaders (13-8).
Mountain Lakes 15, Verona 3
Sarah Bedard notched six goals to help the Lakes advance in North Group I. Mountain Lakes took control early and led 10-0 at the half. Grainger Rosati had a hat trick and Sarah Monteleone and Avery Holland scored two goals apiece for the Lakers. Mountain Lakes plays Glen Ridge next.
Summit 17, Roxbury 2
Chelsea Artigliere and Mia Sadowski notched goals in North Group III action for the Gaels. Roxbury finished the season at 12-8.
