Jefferson, Morris Knolls, Mt. Lakes boys win


Ian Prozwodek and Zak Sparks fired hat tricks to lift Jefferson to a 16-2 win over Morris Catholic in boys lacrosse action on Monday. Peter Chrzanowski had two goals and five assists for Jefferson (16-3).

Morris Knolls 15, Kittatinny 4

Andrew Yenesel scored his 100th varsity goal to lift the Golden Eagles. Yenesel scored five goals altogether. Scot Wells had five goals and two assists and Parker Campbell scored four goals for Morris Knolls.

Park Regional 14, Morris Hills 2

Jake Crane had six goals and an assist to spark Park. Kevin Goettlich had five goals and three assists and Cole Giammanco had three goals nd five assists for Park Regional.

Pope John 3, Madison 2

Justin Dalena and Ryan Schmitz connected for the Dodgers.

Randolph 14, North Warren 5

The Rams had two-goal efforts from Max Pinilis, Matt Holland, Jake Southren and Dom Scali.

Chatham 9, Hunterdon Central 5

Mac Bredahl had three goals and three assists to help the Cougars’ cause. Austin Pierce also had a hat trick for Chatham.

Boonton 17, High Point 3

Connor Davis and Ryan Lourick registered hat tricks for the Bombers.

West Morris 11, Kinnelon 3

Cooper Sloan scored four times to fuel the Wolfpack triumph. Ryan Pruss added a hat trick for West Morris which had a 7-goal third quarter. Joseph Ballai, Drew Slyfield and Mike Elefonte connected for the Colts.

Mountain Lakes 12, Mendham 7

Chet Morgis and Ryan Frawley notched hat tricks to spur the Lakers. Cade Siddron added two goals for Mountain Lakes. Ryan Goryeb and Jack Anderson had two goals each for Mendham.

Mount Olive 12, Montville 6

The Marauders are 12-5. Griffin Shira had four goals and two assists and Alex Maya and Tyler McCreery fired hat tricks for the Marauders. Adam Gonzalez won 14 of 21 face-offs for Mount Olive.

Girls Lacrosse

Passaic Valley 17, St. Elizabeth 14

Bella Ferriso scored seven goals and Mia Ferriso notched four more for the Panthers.

Lenape Valley 15, Park Regional 2

Cassidy Caputo and Amanda Hoberman connected for Park.

Union Catholic 14, Boonton 2

The Bombers are winless.

Pequannock 11, Jefferson 7

The win lifts the Golden Panthers to 7-8 on the year.

Kinnelon 14, Caldwell 10

Ashley Bobinski had a game-high nine goals in the Colts’ triumph. Kate Bonanno added a hat trick for Kinnelon in the road triumph.

Morristown 16, Morris Knolls 6

Annika Begley scored four times including her 100th varsity goal for the Colonials. Victoria Ferrara, Sarah Grace Plott and Jenna Gill each had hat tricks for Morristown. Nicole Ferrara had a goal and four assists in the win. Krista Mitarotonda had a hat trick for the Golden Eagles.
