Morris Knolls boys, Montville girls earn victories

Shane Dougherty fired a hat trick and had three assists to lift Morris Knolls to an 11-2 win over Verona in boys lacrosse action on Monday.

Andrew Yenesel scored four goals and Cole Franchi had three goals and two assists for Morris Knolls (9-6).

Roxbury 16, Governor Livingston 1

Dave Biank fired a hat trick and dished five assists for the Gaels. Eric D’Armino led all scorers with five goals and Connor Mahoney and Matt Dancsecs had two goals apiece for Roxbury (10-6).

North Warren 10, Jefferson 4

Peter Chrzanowski, Alex Leming, Zak Sparks and Ian Prezwodek scored goals for the Falcons.

Kittatinny 15, Parsippany 5

Alex Wang scored twice for the Red Hawks.

Nutley 9, Morris Hills 5

Dean Fitzgerald notched a pair of goal for the Scarlet Knights.

Girls Lacrosse

Montville 13, Caldwell 11

Claudia Trionfo had five goals and Nicole Feaster and Kelsey Perretta added hat tricks for the Mustangs.

Chatham 18, Westfield 8

Bridget Ballard had three goals and four assists to pace the Cougars. Emily Wingate had two goals and three assists and Schuyler Bixby, Beth Kuyk, Zoe Kraus and Emilie DeKeyzer had two goals apiece for Chatham.

Mount Olive 15, North Warren 1

Sarah McEvoy and Alyssa Niedjecki had four goals apiece for the Marauders. Gina Verrone added two goals and three assists. The Marauders are 13-1.

Parsippany 11, Boonton 6

Lillian Tran fired a hat trick and Stephanie Hernandez scored twice for the Red Hawks. Isabella Esposito and Erin Crooker scored two goals each for the Bombers.

St. Elizabeth 17, Parsippany Hills 10

Victoria DiMaggio scored five goals for the VIkings.

Governor Livingston 7, Randolph 6

The Rams drop to 5-8 with the loss.
