Chatham, Mendham, Mt. Lakes, Morristown girls advance


Alex Frenzel and Zoe Kraus notched hat tricks in to lift Chatham to a 15-5 win over Kinnelon in the quarterfinal round of the Morris County Tournament for girls lacrosse. Bridget Ballard, Abby Morgan and Beth Kuyk each scored a pair of goals for second-seeded Chatham. Ashley Bobinski had four goals for the Colts. Chatham faces Mendham in the semifinals.

Mendham 16, Mount Olive 10

The Minutemen improve to 7-6 with the win over previously unbeaten Marauders. Meredith Curtin and Christine Long scored five goals apiece and Kelly McIntyre had four goals and two assists for third-seeded Mendham. Sarah McEvoy had five goals for sixth-seeded Mount Olive. The Marauders drop to 11-1.

Morristown 16, West Morris 10

Callie Sundin scored seven times to help the Colonials upend the Wolfpack. Sarah Grace Plott scored four times and Nicole Ferrara had a hat trick for fith-seeded Morristown. Cassidy Orban fired a hat trick for the fourth-seeded Wolfpack.

Mountain Lakes 16, Pequannock 1

Sarah Monteleone paced the top-seeded Lakers with a hat trick. Sarah Bedard, Grainger Rosati and Haley Tietjen had two goals apiece for Mountain Lakes. Lauren Burklow connected for the Golden Panthers.

Regular season

Pope John 11, Randolph 10

The loss drops the Rams to 4-6.
