The Golden Panthers earned an upset win. Senior midfielder Cole Cherenson scored twice including the game-winner with just over a minute to play to lift Pequannock to a 9-8 win over Roxbury in boys lacrosse action on Thursday.
Liam Lilienthal had two goals and two assists and Matt Gallo had a pair of goals for Pequannock, which rallied from a 6-3 halftime deficit. Eric D’Arminio had three goals and two assists for the Gaels.
Jefferson 12, Kittatinny 2
Ian Prezwodek’s 5-goal effort sparked the Falcons. Jefferson led 7-0 at the half. Tyler Devito also put in five goals for the Falcons.
Randolph 12, Montville 6
Jake Southern scored four goals and Matt Holland fired a hat trick to spark the Rams. Tom Ackaway scored three goals for the Mustangs.
West Morris 9, Seton Hall Prep 7
The Wolfpack improves to 4-3. Kyle Skurchak fired a ha trick and Ryan Pruss and Ryan Antonelle had two goals apiece for West Morris.
Mendham 11, Morris Knolls 4
Rob Adelheim’s 3-goal performance spurred the Minutemen triumph. Jack Anderson, Conrad Hall and Peter Roche scored two goals each for Mendham. Parker Campbell scored a pair of goals for the Golden Eagles.
Morristown 6, Montclair Kimberley 5
Brad Greik fired a hat trick and Shane Helstrom, Harrison Brown and Andrew Chilson added goals for the Colonials are 5-1. Morristown led 5-1 at the half and held off a strong MKA rally.
