Roxbury, St. E’s, West Morris earn victories


Emma Karnitsky scored with 15 seconds left in regulation to provide the game-winning goal in Roxbury’s 9-8 triumph over Kent Place in girls lacrosse action on Friday.

Chelsea Artigliere and Emily Koepfler had two goals apiece for Roxbury and Mia Sadowski added a goal and two assists.

St. Elizabeth 11, Boonton 1

Bella Ferriso scored six goals to pace the Panthers. Elizabeth Kilgore fired a hat trick for Academy of St. Elizabeth.

Montville 11, Westwood 7

Nicole Feasters 3-goal, 4-assist effort lifted the Mustangs to their first win of the year. Claudia Trionfo had a hat trick and Kelsey Perretta scored twice for the Mustangs (1-3).

Verona 13, Morris Catholic 12

Haley Driscoll had four goals and Hanna Driscoll and Madson Kretten had two goals each for the Crusaders.

Oak Knoll 19, Madison 8

Catherine Crowley fired a hat trick and Lauren Taylor scored twice for the Dodgers.

West Morris 18, Sparta 11

The Wolfpack are 2-1. Cassidy Orban had seven goals and Lauren Hamilton added four goals for West Morris.

Morris HIlls 12, North Warren 0

The Scarlet Knights are 3-0.

Nicole Rizzo had five goals to pace the Scarlet Knights. Sarah Walsh added a pair of goals for Morris Hills.

Boys Lacrosse

Madison 6, Caldwell 5

Will Anton fired a hat trick to lift the Dodgers to a narrow victory.

Ryan Schmitz had a goal and two assists and Matt Jackson also connected for the Dodgers (3-0).
