Mountain Lakes boys rally; Chatham remains unbeaten

Cade Siddron scored a game-tying goal with 49 seconds left in regulation and followed it up with the game-winner in overtime to lift Mountain Lakes to a 12-11 come-from-behidn victory in lacrosse action on Thursday.

Mountain Lakes rallied from a 10-5 deficit to gain the win.

Ryan Frawley had three goals and three assists and Brendan Monteleone and Chet Morgis scored two goals each for the Lakers.

Cooper Sloan and Ryan Pruss fired hat tricks and Kyle Skurchak scored twice for the Wolfpack.

Chatham 11, Mount Olive 4

Austin Pierce scored six times including his 100th varsity goal in the Cougars’ win. Matt Coleman had two goals and an assist and Mac Bredahl had a goal and four assists for the Cougars (5-0). Matt Sanchez had a goal and an assist and David Baraniuk, Lucas O’Keefe and Tyler Mcreery also connected for the Marauders.

Morristown-Beard 12, Kinnelon 5

Sean Hatfield had three goals and three assists and Connor Morin had a hat trick for the Crimson (2-2).

Roxbury 10, Randolph 6

David Biank scored four goals and Grant Dixon had two goals and two assists in the Gaels’ triumph. Jake Southren had two goals and two assist to pace the Rams.

Newark Academy 8, Morris Knolls 7

The Golden Eagles fall to 3-1. Shane Dougherty, Andrew Yenesel and Peter Campbell scored two goals apiece for Morris Knolls.

Glen Rock 8, Pequannock 7

Dan Duffy had three goals and Jesse Yurga and Liam Lillienthal scored two goals each for the Golden Panthers.

Morristown 11, Montville 2

Kendall Rogers and Bradley Greik had four goals each to pace the Colonials. Joe Doherty, Andrew Chilson and Jason Gaccione also added goals.Jack Berowitz and Dan Ackaway each connected for the Mustangs.

Morris Hills 7, Newton 3

Dean Fitzgerald fired a hat trick to spark the Scarlet Knights (2-2). Jack Binkoski contributed a goal and three assists for Morris Hills. The Knights led 6-2 at the half.

Girls Lacrosse

Jefferson 14, Blair Academy 12

Jennifer Prezwodek and Kendra Nolan scored five goals each in the Falcons’ triumph.

Mountain Lakes 17, Morristown 4

Sarah Bedard and Granger Rosati scored four goals each and Sarah Monteleone had a hat trick for the Lakers. Nicole Ferrara scored twice for the Colonials.
