Chatham girls rout Madison; Jefferson, Mount Olive win

Zoe Kraus had four goals and two assists and Beth Kuyk fired a hat trick to help Chatham defeat Madison 17-5 in girls lacrosse action on Monday. Bridget Ballard added two goals and three assists and Bixby Schuyler, Emily Wingate and Emilie Dekeyzer had two goals and one assist each for Chatham (1-1). Catherine Crowley and Lauren Taylor had two goals apiece for the Dodgers.

Mount Olive 15, Sparta 11

Sarah McEvoy had six goals and three assists and Gina Verrone had a hat trick to fuel the Marauders. Ann Murray and Grace Kim scored two goals apiece for Mount Olive. The Marauders pulled away with a 10-6 second half effort.

Jefferson 8, Verona 4

The Falcons are 2-1. Jenna Prezwodek and Alexa Kolodjzej each scored a pair of goals for Jefferson. Kendra Nolan, Megan Smith and Brianne Sekula each had a goal and two assists for Jefferson.

Cranford 14, Pequannock 9

Cranford led 6-5 at the half. The Golden Panthers drop to 1-2.

Scotch Plains Fanwood 7, Montville 6, 2OT

Nicole Feaster had two goals and Ashley Colaiacavo and Kelsey Perretta added scores for the Mustangs.

Boys

Wayne Hills 21, Parsippany 1

The Red Hawks first-year program is 0-2.
