Chatham romps; W. Morris edges Mendham in states

Will Barnett had four goals and three assists and Austin Pierce scored four times to lift Chatham past Mahwah 13-1 in North Group II state tournament boys lacrosse action on Tuesday. Thomas Berger had two goals and one assist and Evan Bernard added a pair of goals for Chatham.

North Group I

Mountain Lakes 16, Ramsey 1

Ryan Frawley scored four goals to lift the Lakers. Brad Smith had three goals and two assists, Zander Kotsan had three goals and one assist and Brandon Monteleone had a hat trick for Mountain Lakes. The Lakers are 14-5.

Caldwell 11, Kinnelon 5

The Chiefs pulled away in the second half. John Belanger had two goals and two assists for the Colts.

Pequannock 16, Waldwick 1

Liam Lilienthal had five goals and an assist to lift the Golden Panthers. Bryan Peters had four goals and two assists, Dan Duffy had three goals and four assists and Brian Campo had two goals and an assist.

North Group III

Morristown 11, Mount Olive 3

Dan Delargy had three goals and five assists, Jakob DeFares had two goals and two assists, Kendal Rogers had two goals and one assist and Bradley Greik connected twice for the Colonials. Alec Oriolo, Matt Sanchez and Alex Maya connected for the Marauders.

Northern Highlands 11, Roxbury 3

The Gaels finished at 15-5. Paul Shadel scored twice and Grant Bossard also connected.

West Morris 10, Mendham 7

The Wolfpack improves to 11-10. Kyle Skurchak scored four times to pace the second-seeded Wolfpack. West Morris held a tenuous 5-4 first-half advantage. Ryan Antonelle had two goals and two assists and Cooper Sloan had a goal and three assists. Chandler Avallone had a hat trick for the Minutemen.

Ridgewood 12, Randolph 3

Jake Southren scored twice and Max Pinilis added a score for the Rams.

North Non Public A 

Delbarton 17, Paramus Catholic 1

The Green Wave led 11-1 at the half. Wade Agaisse had four goals, Brian Hanley had three goals and an assist and Rory Madigan had two goals and three assists.

North Non Public B

Depaul 18, Morris Catholic 5

Justin Douville had two goals and an assist for the Crusaders.
