Roxbury, Randolph girls earn narrow victories


Emma Karnitsky scored five times and notched the game-tying and game-winning goals in Roxbury’s 13-12 win over Kinnelon in girls lacrosse action on Wednesday.

Courtney Long, Oliva Serpe and Riley Cummis scored two goals each for Roxbury (10-3). Victoria Bobinski scored six goals for the Colts.

Jefferson 15, Boonton 1

Kendra Nolan had four goals and three assists and Megan Smith, Jenna Prezwodek and Alexa Kolodzej had two goals each for the Falcons. Chelsea Davis connected for the Bombers.

Sparta 18, Pequannock 6

Danielle Musto had a hat trick for the Golden Panthers.

Morristown-Beard 20, Mount St. Dominic 17

Alissa Masini had seven goals and four assists to lift the Crimson to their first victory of the season. Chelsea Kramer had five goals and three assists and Renne Dowart had four goals for Morristown-Beard.

Randolph 9, Morris Knolls 8

Taryn Naslonski and Kelly McGinniss fired hat tricks to fuel the Rams’ triumph. Natalie Panvini, Jillian Whiting and Brynn Fantuzzi also connected. The Rams led 7-2 at the half and held on for the win. Randolph is 7-8 on the season. Krista Mitarotonda scored four goals for the Golden Eagles.
