Delbarton, Mountain Lakes boys, Jefferson girls prosper

Emmet Cordrey scored five goals to lift Delbarton to an 11-6 win over Westfiled in boys lacrosse action on Wednesday.

The victory gave the Green Wave a Fitch-Pitt conference title. The Green Wave is 7-0 in the league. Delbarton led 8-1 at the half. Andrew Ford and T. J. Comizio added two goals each.The Green Wave is 10-1 overall.

Mountain Lakes 16, Ramapo 8

Zander Kotsen scored twice and had one assist to lift the Lakers in a balanced effort. A 9-0 third quarter run gave Mountain Lakes a commanding 14-4 edge going into the final period. Trevor Benedetto, Brad Landry, Chet Morgis, Chiso Egbuchulam and Davis Thompson registered two goals each for the Lakers.

Morristown-Beard 17, Montclair Kimberley 9

Chris Glancy scored his 100th career goal and Thomas Rago had his 300th varsity point.The Crimson led 12-4 at the half. Glancy finished with two goals and two assists and Rago had three goals and four assists. John McDonald led all Crimson scorers with five goals..

Northern Highlands 10, Randolph 4

Jake Southren had two goals and one assist and Zach Shuster and Wyatt Todd each notched a goal.

Morristown 13, Livingston 8

Dan Delargy dished six assists to go along with two goals for the Colonials. Connor Schwerdt had four goals and two assists and Kendall Rogers and Bradley Greik each had two goals and an assist.

Roxbury 9, Pope John 3

The Gaels are 12-2. Matt Dancsecs and Paul Shadel registered hat tricks and Dave Biank had two goals and two assists.

Jefferson 16, High Point 0

Matt Bush had five goals and one assist and Peter Chrzanowski, Peyton Faasse and Brendan Gill each scored twice for the Falcons (9-6).

Boonton 16, Union City 5

Frank Rao scored five goals, Joe Norton score four goals and Nick Lourick added a pair for the Bombers.

West Essex 6, West Morris 5

Garrett Izzo had two goals and Ryan Antonelle had two assists for the Wolfpack.

Morris Hills 7, Verona 5

Gavin Ciccia had two goals and an assist for the Scarlet Knights. Zach Berkowitz and Mike Dietrick also had a pair of goals for Morris Hills (6-8).

Newark Academy 13, Morris Knolls 10

Shane Dougherty scored four goals and an assist and Andrrew Yenesel broke he the 100-point varsity milestone for Morris Knolls (8-5).

Kendra Nolan had seven goals and an assist and Megan Smith and Julia Grilca notched three goals each for the Falcons.

Kinnelon 19, Boonton 4

Victoria Bobinski scored four goals including her 100th career varsity goal to lift the Colts. Talia Price had six goals and one assist. Ashley Bobinski added a pair of goals.

Morris Knolls 16, Morristown-Beard 9

Krista Mitarotonda had five goals and two assists and Emily Blum had five goals and one assist to pace the Golden Eagles. Alissa Masini led the Crimson with six goals.
