Morris Catholic boys, Mt Lakes, Mount Olive girls earn victories


Danny Dunn had three goals and dished three assists to lift Morris Catholic to a 12-6 victory over Bergen Tech in boys lacrosse action on Tuesday.

Justin Douville and Matthew Graziano each had two goals and one assist and Brandon Kamholz scored twice for the Crusaders (8-5).

Pequannock 14, Holmdel 2

Bryan Peters had three goals and three assists to pace the Golden Panthers. Pequannock led 7-1 at the half. Jesse Yurga scored three times and Dan Duffy scored twice.

Park Regional 21, Hawthorne 2

Jason Turiansky had three goals and two assists to lift Park. Joe Jannicelli, Kevin Goettlich, Alex LaShell, Patrick Lazur and Pat Hebert scored two goals each for Park (7-3).

Girls lacrosse

Mountain Lakes 15, Kent Place 5

Granger Rosati had four goals and four assists to pace the Lakers. Natalie LaBeau, Sarah Bedard and Rachel Treweeke all had hat tricks and Julie Krupnick stopped nine shots for Mountain Lakes (5-8).

Mount Olive 15, Vernon 6

The Marauders are 10-1. Sarah McEvoy had five goals and an assist, Claire Callaghan had three goals and two assists and Amber Gonzalez had three goals and one assist for Mount Olive.

Sparta 16, Montville 3

Zoe Tabakin scored twice for the Mustangs.

Indian Hills 9, Pequannock 5

The Golden Panthers drop to 5-7.
