Hatfield breaks 200-goal barrier as Mo-Beard triumphs

Teddy Hatfield scored eight goals and two assists including his 200th goal to lift Morristown-Beard to a 22-10 win over Mendham in boys lacrosse action on Thursday.

Hatfield finished the game with 205 varsity goals. Thomas Rago had four goals and two assists and Conor Morin and John McDonald had three goal games for Morristown-Beard (9-1).

Livingston 12, Morris Knolls 3

Shane Dougherty scored twice for the Golden Eagles.

West Morris 9, Watchung Hills 6

Cole Draghi, Kyle Skurchak and Cooper Sloan scored two goals each to pace the Wolfpack.

Madison 9, Montclair Kimberley 6

The Dodgers led 7-3 going into the final period. Ryan Schmitz fired a hat trick and A. J. Schmitz had two goals and two assists for Madison.

Sparta 10, Roxbury 6

Eric D’Arminio had two goals and three assists, Chris Snow had two goals and an assist and Paul Shadel scored twice for Roxbury (9-2).

Boonton 9, Wayne Hills 8

Joe Norton scored four goals and Tod Matchett and Austin Van Zant scored two goals each for the Bombers. Boonton led 8-4 after three quarters.

Montclair 14, Kinnelon 6

The Colts trailed 6-3 at the half. They drop to 3-4 on the season.

Newark Academy 11, Morris Hills 4

The Scarlet Knights dropped to 4-7.

Girls Lacrosse

Morris Catholic 13, Warren Hills 6

A 7-1 second half effort lifted the Crusaders. Lexi Finn had four goals and four assists, Haley Driscoll fired a hat trick and Rachel Petruska scored twice for the Crusaders (5-7).

West Essex 9, Mountain Lakes 7

Natalie LaBeau had a hat trick and Rachel Treweeke scored twice for the Lakers (3-8).

Pope John 8, Morris Hills 7

Kyleigh Miller scored four goals and Casey Lyness, Sarah Walsh and Nicole Rizzo also tallied.
