Mt. Lakes, Jefferson boys; Morris Hills girls earn victories

Brad Smith had three goals and one assist to lift Mountain Lakes to a 6-3 win over Don Bosco Prep in boys lacrosse action on Wednesday.

Ryan Frawley notched a pair of goals and Trevor Benedetto also connected. Goalie Kevin Beimforh stopped seven shots for the Lakers (9-1).

Jefferson 10, Newton 1

Rozmus Trevor had four goals and two assists to lift the Falcons. Matt Bush added three goals and Peyton Faasse added a goal and two assists.

Pequannock 10, Pope John 3

Bryan Peters had four goals and one assist and Liam Lilienthal had two goals for the Golden Panthers. Dan Duffy had one goal and three assists and Hunter Soden had one goal and two assists for Pequannock. The Golden Panthers led 6-1 at the half.

Montville 9, Glen Rock 5

Graham Jesperson scored four goals and had one assist to pace the Mustangs. Brendan Kelly and Alec Lewis registered two goals and one assist each for Montville. The Mustangs outscored Glen Rock 4-1 in the second half.

Randolph 5, Mount Olive 3

Jake Southren scored twice and Matt Potter had a goal and an assist for the Rams (7-5). Mark Laratta had three goals and Alex Maya had two assists for the Marauders (6-4).

Morris Catholic 14, Hawthorne 0

Adam Wagner had four goals and one assist and Matthew Graziano had three goals and four assists for the Crusaders. Morris Catholic is 6-5.

Chatham 11, West Essex 7

The Cougars rallied from a 4-3 halftime deficit. Will Barnett had four goals and three assists and Matt Coleman added a hat trick for Chatham.

Mendham 15, Kittatinny 1

The Minutemen led 11-1 at the half. Chandler Avallone scored five goals. Drew Robshaw had two goals and one assist and Rob Adelheim and Quinn Cembrinski each scored twice for Mendham.

Girls Lacrosse

Morris Hills 18, Boonton 8

Kyleigh Miller scored six times and Shaye Clark, Kellyann Gangaware, Emily Frya and Daniella Mess added two goals each for the Scarlet Knights.

Mount Olive 15, High Point 4

The Marauders are 8-1. Sarah McEvoy and Deanna Spagnola each registered hat tricks and Claire Callaghan added two goals for Mount Olive.

Roxbury 18, North Warren 5

Taylor Torpin’s hat trick fueled the Gaels’ romp. Emily Koepfler, Sadie Wilson, Corrie Walker, Mia Sadowski and Emma Karnitsky added two goals apiece for Roxbury (8-2)

Morristown 8, Mahwah 3

Callie Sundin had a hat trick and Maddy Heher added two goals for Morristown (8-4).

Northern Highlands 20, Morristown-Beard 7

Alissa Masini had four goals and two assists for the Crimson.
