Mountain Lakes, Park, Mount Olive boys triumph

Ryan Frawley fired a hat trick to lift Mountain Lakes past Northern Highlands 8-2 in boys lacrosse action on Tuesday. Will Ratchford had two goals and Brad Smith had a goal and three assists for Mountain Lakes (7-1).

Park Regional 20, Union City 0

Kevin Goettlich and Cole Giammonco each fired hat tricks for Park Regional. Joe Jannicell added four goals for Park (4-2).

Mount Olive 13, Warren Hills 2

Mark Laratta’s six-goal, two-assist performance sparked the Marauders. Alex Maya had two goals and three assists and Nick Karle scored twice for Mount Olive (5-2) Goalies Kevin Geiger and Ian Spitzer shared 11 saves.

Westfield 8, West Morris 4

Kyle Skurchak and Cooper Sloan scored two goals apiece for the Wolfpack.

Seton Hall Prep 10, Chatham 9

The Pirates’ Thomas Larose scored the game-winner with 5.7 seconds left in regulation. The Cougars fall to 2-5. Will Barrett had three goals and two assists and Austin Pierce added two goals.

Pope John 16, Boonton 4

Austin Van Zant scored twice for the Bombers.

Livingston 10, Madison 7

A.J. Schmitz scored four goals and had one assist for the Dodgers.

Sparta 11, Pequannock 5

Dan Duffy and Hunter Soden each scored two goals apiece for the Golden Panthers.

Summit 12, Mendham 1

The loss drops the Minutemen to 1-5.

Vernon 14, Jefferson 2

The Falcons fall to 3-5.

Montville 8, Voorhees 6

A 3-1 third quarter helped the Mustangs build a 7-5 advantage going into the final period.

Cranford 15, Morristown 5

Dan Delargy fired a hat trick and Kendall Rogers and Noah Suskin also tallied.

Morris Knolls 11, Clifton 10, OT

The Golden Eagles are 5-2 on the season.

Roxbury 8, Mahwah 4

The Gaels led 4-1 at the half and maintained an advantage the rest of the way.
