West Morris, Park, Jefferson earn victories

Ryan Pruss and Cooper Sloan fired hat tricks to lift West Morris to an 8-7 win over Chatham in boys lacrosse action on Thursday. Austin Pierce scored three goals and Will Barnett had a goal and two assists for the Cougars.

Park Regional 14, Morris Catholic 12

Kevin Goettlich had seven goals and three assists to propel Park. Joe Janicelli added three goals and three assists and goalkeeper Chris Russo stopped nine shots. Danny Dunn and Matthew Graziano scored four goals each for the Crusaders.

Jefferson 15, Nutley 8

The Falcons evened their mark at 2-2. Matt Bush had six goals and two assists, Alex Leming had three goals and an assist and Peyton Faase had two goals and four assists.

Randolph 10, Pequannock 9

Max Pinilis, Jake Southren and Luc Swedlund scored three goals apiece to spark the Rams. Bryan Peters had four goals and three assists and Hunter Soden added a hat trick for Pequannock.

Delbarton 14, Mendham 2

Ryan Onderdonk had two goals and two assists to lift the Green Wave. Michael Rutter, Connor Kirst and Keegan Khan each scored two goals for Delbarton (4-0). Kyle Garrison scored twice for the Minutemen.

Mountain Lakes 11, Glen Ridge 6

The Lakers improve to 4-0. Zander Kotsen scored three goals and Brad Smith had a goal and two assists for Mountain Lakes. The Lakers outscored the Ridgers 6-2 in the second half.

Johnson 14, Morris Knolls 12

Sean Statlander had seven goals and two assists for the Golden Eagles.

Clifton 14, Morris Hills 8

Zach Berkowitz scored five goals for the Scarlet Knights.

Madison 12, Bernards 11

Vince Sapio sank five goals including the game-winner inside of two minutes for the Dodgers. A. J. Schmitz had four goals and two assists and Justin Dalena notched a hat trick for Madison (2-0).

Morristown 7, Caldwell 3

Jakob DeFares and Joe Doherty scored two goals apiece for the Colonials. Brad Greik and Kendall Rogers also connected for Morristown. The Colonials are 2-1.

Mount Olive 13, Pope John 4

Mark Laratta scored six goals, Matthew Sanchez fired a hat trick and Alex Maya added a goal and three assists for the Marauders (3-1).

St. Peter’s Prep 19, Montville 8

Brendan Kelly had two goals and two assists and Graham Jesperson and Pat Sauerborn each added a pair of goals for the Mustangs.
