Chatham girls move to 3-0; Roxbury, Jefferson triumph

Emily Wingate, Bridget Ballard and Alex Frenzel each earned hat tricks in Chatham’s 16-3 win over Morris Knolls in girls lacrosse action on Monday. Zoe Kraus scored twice. Chatham built a 12-1 advantage by halftime. The Cougars are unbeaten at 3-0. Krista Mitarotonda scored twice for the Golden Eagles.

Mendham 18, Kinnelon 4

Carlye Maita scored four times to pace the Minutemen. Christine Long and Christine Graziano fired hat tricks. Meri Curtin, Megan McKeon and Olivia Coleman each scored twice for Mendham (2-1). Victoria Bobinski scored twice for the Colts.

Jefferson 17, DePaul 3

Kendra Nolan had four goals and three assists to pace the Falcons. Megan Smith added three goals and three assists and Jenna Prezwodek added a hat trick. Jefferson is 1-2.

Roxbury 14, West Milford 3

Emily Koepfler and Taylor Torpin each fired hat tricks for the Gaels. Roxbury led 11-0 at the half. Emma Karnitsy added a pair of goals and Chelsea Artigliere, Olivia Serpe and Mia Sadowski also tallied for the Gaels (2-1).

Ridgewood 18, Randolph 4

Taralyn Naslonski fired a hat trick for the Rams (2-1).

Newark Academy 19, Morristown-Beard 18

Alissa Masini had eight goals and two assists, Katie Hunt had five goals and Jill Burke and Chelsea Kramer each notched a pair of goals.

Montville 8, Westwood 5

The Mustangs are 2-1. Claudia Trionfo fired a hat trick and Zoe Tabakin had two goals and two assists for Montville.

Governor Livingston 15, Park Regional 0

Park falls in its season opener.
