Jefferson, Boonton boys; Roxbury, MC girls earn wins

Trevor Rozmus scored five goals to spark Jefferson to a 15-5 victory over Morris Catholic on Friday. Matt Bush had a hat trick and Kyle Jorgenson and Garrett Richards scored two goals each for the Falcons.

Boonton 11, Park Regional 10

Drew Recchia had four goals and three assists to propel the Bombers. Nick Lourick added two goals and three assists for Boonton. The Bombers led 8-2 at the half and withstood a second half rush by Park.

Thursday

MCT

Delbarton 13, Morristown 4

Connor Kirst scored five goals to lift the top-seeded Green Wave in an MCT quarterfinal round triumph. Emmett Cordrey and Jordan Dowiak scored two goals each for Delbarton (12-2). The Green Wave plays Morristown-Beard in Saturday’s semifinal. Chris Drake scored twice and Brian Begley and Joey Murphy added goals for the eighth-seeded Colonials.

Girls

Roxbury 18, North Warren 7

Amanda Beal scored five times and registered her 100th point in the Gaels triumph. Kayla Lucia and Jamie Kendelski notched hat tricks for Roxbury.

Morris Catholic 14, Morristown-Beard 12

Lexi Finn had four goals and two assists and Sarah Shirkey had three goals and three assists for the Crusaders. Taylor Shannahan also added a hat trick for Morris Catholic.

West Morris 11, Columbia 5

The Wolfpack put together a 5-1 second-half effort. Julia Radossich scored four goals, Chelsea Orban had a hat trick and Paige Burton had two goals and an assist for West Morris.

Caldwell 14, Pequannock 7

Arden Kassaleh scored four goals and Danielle Musto added a pair of goals for the Golden Panthers.

Montclair 17, Montville 8

The Mounties led 13-3 at the half.
