Shalit lifts Randolph, Frankovic sparks W. Morris


Dana Shalit and Carly Whitman each fired hat tricks to lift Randolph for a 14-4 victory over North Warren in girls lacrosse action on Friday. Lindsey Klein and Kelly McGinniss added two goals apiece for Randolph.

West Morris 13, Morris Knolls 9

Sarah Frankovic had four goals and an assist and Amy Moore fired a hat trick for the Wolfpack. Julia Radossich and Chelsea Orban scored two goals each for West Morris. Jacie Cooper scored five times and Krista Mitarotonda added a pair of goals for Morris Knolls.

Montville 13, Pequannock 5

Abby Haimson had five goals and one assist, Nicole Dvoretsky had three goals and three assists and Carly DeNigris scored twice for the Mustangs in the annual HEADstrong Foundation fundraiser. Arden Kassaleh and Danielle Musto scored two goals each for the Golden Panthers in the night contest held at Montville.

Mollahan reaches milestone

Boonton’s Meghan Mollahan scored four goals including her 100th varsity goal on Thursday. Mollahan matched her milestone at 24:02 in the first half to spot the Bombers a 2-0 lead over Jefferson. She would finish the game with 102 career goals. Jefferson rallied to take a 9-4 halftime lead. The Falcons went on to win the game 17-6 and run their record to 9-0 on the season..
