Chatham, Mountain Lakes, Mount Olive triumph

Scott Lynch scored five goals to lead Chatham to an 18-6 triumph over West Morris in lacrosse action on Thursday.

Will Barnett fired a hat trick and Davie Gill and Evan Bernard each finished with one goals and four assists for the Cougars (7-4). Cooper Sloan fired a hat trick for the Wolfpack. Chatham used a 7-goal second quarter effort to take an 8-2 halftime advantage.

Mountain Lakes 8, Kinnelon 6

Christian Cuccinello and Brad Smith each had two goals and two assists to lift the Lakers (9-2). Davis Thompson also added two goals and Zander Kotsen and Chris Sammarro scored a goal apiece

Nick Labanca had two goals and Michael Elefonte had one goal and two assists for the Colts.

Mount Olive 13, North Warren 8

Alec Oriolo had three goals and three assists in the Marauders’ triumph. Alex Maya and Travis Gerden also had hat tricks and Mark Laratta had a goal and two assists for Mount Olive (2-7).

Morristown-Beard 21, Montville 5

Teddy Hatfield had seven goals and three assists to pace the unbeaten Crimson. Thomas Rago added five goals and four assists. Trevor Baptiste snatched 20 ground balls along with three goals and two assists. John McDonald had five assists and 11 ground balls. The Crimson (10-0) took control early with a 9-2 first-quarter run.

Mendham 13, Randolph 2

Will Robinson scored four goals to fuel the Minutemen (4-3). Chandler Avallone fired a hat trick and Ross Coapman and Tim Gillespie each had two goals and two assists. Mike Turner had a goal and an assist for the Rams.

Pequannock 12, Roxbury 9

Liam Lilienthal had five goals and one assist and Bryan Peters and Tyler Macejka each had two goals and two assists for the Golden Panthers. Steve Ruffine scored four times for the Gaels.

Park Regional 9, Verona 6

A 7-goal fourth quarter lifted Park in a come-from-behind triumph.

Pope John 9, Jefferson 2

The Lions pulled away with five consecutive second-half goals.

Lenape Valley 10, Morris Hills 9

The close contest was tied at 6-6 at the half.

Newton 14, Boonton 10

Drew Recchia scored five goals and Joe Norton connected four times for the Bombers.

Kittatinny 16, Morris Catholic 4

The Crusaders are 0-10.

Girls

Jefferson 17, Boonton 6

Kara Hodapp scored nine goals and had three assists to lift the Falcons to 9-0 on the season. Kendra Nolan had four goals and an assist and Danielle Pini finished with three goals and three assists. Meghan Mollahan scored four goals including her 100th varsity goal for the Bombers.

Governor Livingston 10, Morris Hills 5

The loss drops the Scarlet Knights to 1-6 on the season.

Vernon 16, Park Regional 3

Melissa Wamp scored twice for Park.
