Chatham, Mountain Lakes, Morristown-Beard earn victories

Christian Cuccinello had three goals and one assist to lift Mountain Lakes to a 14-4 triumph over Glen Rock in boys lacrosse action on Tuesday.

Davis Thompson had two goals and two assists and Jason Wolpov and Zach Lesko each scored twice. Mountain Lakes took control early with a 7-1 first-quarter effort. The Lakers are 7-1 on the season.

Morristown-Beard 16, Morris Knolls 3 

Teddy Hatfield scored five times to pace the Crimson. Thomas Rago had four goals and four assists and Trevor Baptiste captured 15 of 18 draws and also had two goals and two assists for Morristown-Beard. The Crimson, unbeaten at 8-0, led 14-2 at the half.

Chatham 9, Seton Hall Prep 8

The Cougars led 9-5 after three quarters and withstood a late rush.

Will Barnett scored four goals, Austin Pierce scored three times and Rich Berger had two goals and four assists. The Cougars are 5-3.

Westfield 11, West Morris 2

The Blue Devils used a 5-0 third quarter to take a 9-2 advantage going into the final period.

Pope John 5, Randolph 3

J.P. Southren fired a hat trick for the Rams. The Lions rallied from a 3-2 halftime deficit.

Bernards 12, Madison 7

The Mountaineers led 7-5 at the half.

GIRLS

Mount Olive 12, Governor Livingston 8

Claire Callaghan scored five times and added an assist for the Marauders. Sarah McEvoy added four goals and two assists for Mount Olive.
