Madison edges Millburn; Randolph, Kinnelon triumph

Junior attackman Vince Sapio had three goals and an assist to lift Madison to an 8-7 triumph over Millburn in boys lacrosse action on Saturday.

A. J. Schmitz added a pair of goals and Andrew Kaye had one goal and two assists for Madison.

The Dodgers led 8-4 going into the final period. The Millers scored three fourth-quarter goals and had the ball at midfield with 10 seconds left in regulation but could not get a final shot off.

Lenape Valley 9, Jefferson 4

Matt Bush, Jorgenson Kyle and Garrett Richards each registered a goal and an assist for the Falcons. The Patriots took control with a 6-goal third quarter effort.

West Morris 11, Bernards 8

Matt Pruss had three goals and one assist and Ryan Muscatella, Matt Carfaro and Maxx Evans each scored twice for the Wolfpack.

Livingston 14, Morris Hills 5

Zach Berkowitz had two goals and an assist to pace the Scarlet Knights.

Roxbury 15, Morris Catholic 2

The Gaels prevail behind Arthur Warden’s seven goals. Phil Caltagirone added four goals and two assists for Roxbury.

Randolph 8, West Windsor North 2

J.P. Southren and Jake Southren had two goals and two assists for the Rams. Keeper Matthew Curle stopped 10 of 12 shots for Randolph.

Sparta 7, Mount Olive 1

Owen Mead’s four goals paced the Spartans. Travis Gerdes connected for the Marauders.

St. Anthony’s (NY) 11, Delbarton 7

Jordan Dowiak scored four times for the Green Wave. Will McCarthy added a goal and an assist for Delbarton.

St. Anthony’s scored five consecutive first-quarter goals and led 5-1 at the half.

Pequannock 15, Vernon 4

Liam Lilienthal had four goals and three assists to fuel the Golden Panthers’ triumph. Dan Duffy added four goals and Dan Higgins, Tyler Macejk and Bryan Peters each scored twice. Pequannock broke a 2-2 tie with seven consecutive goals during the second and third periods.

Morris Knolls 13, North Warren 5

Reed Pelliconi had three goals and four assists and Sean Statlander fired a hat trick for the Golden Eagles.

Kinnelon 10, Glen Rock 4

Joe Neggia had five goals and two assists to fuel the Colts triumph. Nick LaBanca added a hat trick and Steve Landspurg and Devin Ditaranto added goals for Kinnelon.

Morristown-Beard 21, West Orange 1

Teddy Hatfield had seven goals and four assists. Chris Glancy, Trevor Baptiste and John McDonald each had hat tricks and Thomas Rago dished six assists.

GIRLS

Boonton 11, Passaic Valley 5

Meghan Mollahan fired a hat trick and Brianna Frias and Natalie VanDeVliet scored two goals each for the Bombers.

Kent Place 19, Villa Walsh 7

Kent Place took a 12-5 lead at the half. Christina Pallitto scored four times and Victoria Esposito, Kelly Holt and Taylor Medd also tallied.

Pascack Valley 11, Roxbury 8

Amanda Beal scored four goals and Chelsea Artigliere, Katie Cikovski, Jamie Kendelski and Dana Pizzuti each added a goal for the Gaels.

West Milford 9, St. Elizabeth 2
