Madison, Jefferson, Delbarton triumph


Christian Scarpello, Vince Sapio and Andrew kaye scored four goals each to lift Madison to a 17-4 win over Cranford in boys lacrosse on Tuesday. A 7-goal third quarter helped the Dodgers build a 13-4 edge going into the final period. A.J. Schmitz added two goals and four assists for Madison (2-1).

Jefferson 13, Wallkill Valley 4

Brendan Gill scored six goals and Matt Bush had a hat trick for the Falcons. Jefferson (2-1) took a 7-2 advantage at the half.

Chatham 5, Summit 4

David Gill and Will Barnett scored two goals apiece for the Cougars in a low scoring victory. Rich Berger added three assists and goalie Matt Nestler stopped 10 shots for Chatham (2-1)

Delbarton 18, West Essex 10

The Green Wave took control early with 10 first-quarter goals. Conor Mackie scored four goals and Connor Kirst and Jack Crowley had hat tricks for Delbarton (2-1).

Roxbury 18, West Orange 2

Phil Caltagirone scored four times and Dave Blank and Arthur Warden scored three goals apiece for the Gaels (3-0).

Morris Knolls 12, Park Regional 5

The Golden Eagles pulled away with a 5-goal third quarter. Andrew Yenesel scored four times and Shane Dougherty, Sean Lorenz and Sean Statlander scored two goals apiece. Pat Brennan and Seth Wadleigh had two-goal games for Park.

Morristown 10, Millburn 0

Will Edwards earned a shutout on seven saves. Kendall Rogers had a hat trick and Chris Drake had two goals and three assists.

Randolph 9, Boonton 6

J.P. Southren scored four goals and Jake Southren had three goals for the Rams. Joe Norton had three goals and two assists for the Bombers.

Sparta 14, Pequannock 10

Bryan Peters had three goals and three assists and Tyler Macejka and Dan Duffy each scored three goals for the Golden Panthers.

Bergen Catholic 12, Mountain Lakes 6

Davis Thompson and Brad Smith scored two goals apiece for the Lakers (2-1).


Boonton 8, St. Elizabeth 5

Meghan Mollahan scored four goals and Natalie VanDeVliet scored twice for the Bombers (2-1). Julia Darcy and Emilia Scalaro each scored twice for the Panthers (0-2).

Mount Olive 13, Passaic Valley 2

The Marauders led 8-1 at the half. Claire Callaghan scored four times and Deanna Spagnola scored twice for Mount Olive (3-0).

Jefferson 17, Pope John 8

Kara Hodapp and Danielle Pini scored five goals apiece and Kendra Nolan had a hat trick for the Falcons (2-0).

Newark Academy 17, Morris Hills 6

Kyleigh Miller and Shane Clarke scored two goals each for the Scarlet Knights (0-3).
