Pequannock, Morris Hills boys triumph

Dan Duffy scored five goals and Liam Lilienthal added three goals and four assists to lift Pequannock to a 13-12 win over Mount Olive in boys lacrosse action on Friday.
Bryan Peters added two goals and three assists to lift Pequannock in its opener. Mark Laratta scored six goals for the Marauders.
Morris Hills 12, Jefferson 0
Zach Berkowitz had four goals and three assists to pace the Scarlet Knights. Goalkeeper Nick Draney stopped 14 shots to earn the shutout. Anthony D’Amico added four goals and three assists.
Morristown 7, Cranford 5
Kendall Rogers fired a hat trick and Brian Begley scored twice for the Colonials, which had a 6-3 halftime advantage.
Roxbury 15, Boonton 1
Will Doran and Arthur Warden each registered three goals and one assist and Phil Caltagirone added three goals in the Gaels’ triumph.
Girls Lacrosse
Pascack Valley 11, Pequannock 9
Alyssa Tachon had four goals and an assist for the Golden Panthers.
Morristown 16, Scotch Plains 5
Maddy Hehir scored six goals to lift the Colonials. Allie Ferrera had three goals and five assists and Meghan Siverson and Caroline Hersh twirled hat tricks for Morristown. The Colonials led 12-3 at the half.
West Essex 15, West Morris 5
Liz Pensabene notched a pair of goals for the Wolfpack.
Madison 16, Northern Highlands 7
Michelle Montagna scored five goals and Brynn Taylor had four goals and two assists in the Dodgers’ triumph. Madison led 10-1 at the half.
Montclair 16, Morris Catholic 4
Taylor Shannahan scored a pair of goals for the Crusaders.
Ridgewood 14, Mendham 8
Christin Graziano scored five times for the Minutemen. The Maroons led 8-3 at the half.
Morristown-Beard 16, Roxbury 10
Alissa Masini scored seven goals in the Crimson triumph. Caroline Chambers added a hat trick for Morristown-Beard. Katie Cikovski had three goals and one assist for Roxbury. Morristown-Beard led 9-3 at the half.
Summit 18, Chatham 6
Alex Frenzel had a pair of goals for the Cougars.
New Providence 8, Randolph 5
Natalie Panvini scored three times for the Rams.
