SHP stuns Delbarton; Morristown-Beard falls

Jules Heringsburg had three goals and two assists to lift Seton Hall Prep to a stunning 10-8 upset of previously unbeaten Delbarton in a Non Public A state semifinal contest on Saturday. The victory avenges the Pirates 8-7 loss on April 11.

Grant VanFossen, Kevin Lewis and Dillon Confalone scored two goals each and Matt Killian and J.J. McBride each scored a goal for the Morris County Tournament champions. Delbarton finishes its season at 17-1. Seton Hall Prep improves to 10-8.

 

Non Public B

Immaculata 10, Morristown-Beard 7

The Crimson led 6-4 at halftime but couldn’t hold on in semifinal round action. Andrew Callahan had three goals and three assists, Thomas Rago had two goals and two assists and Trevor Baptiste and Chris Glancy added goals for Morristown-Beard (11-8). Immaculata, which pulled away with a 4-1 effort in the fourth quarter, improves to 12-8.
