Delbarton boys, Jefferson girls prevail


Ten different players scored goals to lift Delbarton to a 12-3 victory over Chatham in boys lacrosse action on Tuesday.

The Green Wave took control with six first-quarter goals. Tommy Fowler and Dillon Conforte scored two goals each for unbeaten Delbarton (3-0). Chatham falls to 3-1.

Pequannock 15, Passaic Valley 1 – Ryan Van Bochoven scored five goals and Tyler Macejka had three goals and three assists for the Golden Panthers (4-0).

Montville 12, Pope John 10 – Jake Haimson scored seven goals including five in the second half for the Mustangs. Niko Del Moro had two goals and one assists and Tyler Chin had a goal and three assists for Montville (2-1). Pope John drops to 2-2.

Morris Knolls 15, Morris Hills 7 – Jon Engels had four goals and two assists to pace the Golden Eagles in the battle of sister schools. Andrew Consales had three goals and one assist and Jess Kopecky had two goals and two assists. Zach Berkowitz scored four goals for the Scarlet Knights (1-3). The Golden Eagles are 2-2.

St. Peter’s Prep 10, Randolph 7 – Kurt Naslonski notched a hat trick and T. J. Lindquist scored twice for the Rams (1-3).

Caldwell 7, Morristown-Beard 5 – The Crimson drop to 1-3.

Seton Hall Prep 7, Mendham 5 – Will Robinson scored two goals and Russ Coapman had a goal and an assist for the Minutemen.

Westfield 6, West Morris 5 – Matt Pruss scored a hat trick for the Wolfpack (3-1).

Girls lacrosse results

Jefferson 25, Hanover Regional 11, Darby Nolan scored eight goals and Kara Hodapp had seven goals and four assists for the unbeaten Falcons (4-0). Jefferson led 14-8 at the half. Melissa Wamp scored eight goals for Hanover Regional (1-2).

Morristown-Beard 19, Livingston 16 – Emily Kellogg scored five goals and Alissa Masini had four goals for the Crimson. Jill Burke and Carolyn Chambers had hat tricks for Morristown Beard (3-1).

Morris Hills 15, Passaic Valley 2 – Danielle Aihini had three goals and one assist. Shelby Clarke, Shaye Clark, Casey Lyness and Ashley Lovenberg scored two goals apiece for the Scarlet Knights (2-1).

Lenape Valley 11, Boonton 8; Newark Academy 10, St. Elizabeth 4.
