Mount Olive, Montville, Pequannock, Madison boys prevail

Chris Sanchez had three goals and three assists and Eric Weiss had three goals and an assist to lift Mount Olive to an 11-3 victory over Park Regional on Thursday. Mark Laretta also added a hat trick for the unbeaten Marauders. Mount Olive (2-0) led 9-0 after three quarters.

Montville 9, Glen Rock 6 – Tyler Chin had three goals and one assist and Jake Haimson had two goals and two assists for the Mustangs.

Pequannock 13, Lakeland 7 – Ryan Van Bochoven had six goals and one assist and Liam Lilliethal connected six times for the Golden Panthers. Bryan Peters snagged 15 ground balls and Tyler Macejka added a goal and five assists for Pequannock (2-0).

Madison 16, Morristown-Beard 4 – The Dodgers led 11-3 at the half. Collin Scarpello had six goals and three assists, Alan Schmitz had four goals and one assist and Christian Scarpello had two goals and three assists for unbeaten Madison (2-0). The Crimson drop to 0-2 on the season.

Boonton 8, Newton 4 – Drew Recchia and Joe Norton each registered two goals and one assist for the Bombers. Ian Taylor scored twice and goalkeeper Mark Matarazzo stopped 20 shots to lift Boonton to 1-1 on the season.

Morristown 8, Columbia 7 – Chris Drake fired a hat trick and Mike Lopez added a goal and an assist for the Colonials. Morristown rallied from a 6-5 third quarter deficit and scored three fourth-quarter goals. The Colonials are 1-1.

Chatham 11, Mendham 3 – The Cougars built a 5-0 first-quarter advantage. Chet McLaughlin fired a hat trick. Joey Ritter and Nick Citron scored two goals each and Sam Carson added a goal and three assists for Chatham (2-0). Tim Lewis had a goal and an assist for Mendham (0-2).

Montclair Kimberley 11, Randolph 10 – Kurt Naslonski had a hat trick and J.P. Southern had two goals and two assists for the Rams (0-2).
