Chatham, West Morris boys win overtime thrillers

David Gill scored off a Thomas Guida feed at 1:24 into the second overtime to provide the game-winner in Chatham’s 7-6 win over Seton Hall Prep in a contest at Cougar Field.

Chatham rallied from a 4-goal deficit to tie the game at 6-6. Guida finished with two goals and one assist, Chet McLaughlin notched a pair of goals and Sam Carson had three assists for the Cougars (1-0).

West Morris 6, West Essex 5 – Matt Carfaro scored at 1:10 into overtime to provide the game winner for the Wolfpack. Jeremy Angle fired a hat trick and Carfaro scored twice for West Morris.

A.L. Johnson 8, Randolph 6 – Kurt Naslonski had three goals and one assist for the Rams.
